Rudi-Mentals
‘Rudi – Mentals’ unites the Rotaract Clubs of Colombo Fort, IIT and Interact Club of Royal Institute, fostering collaboration and shared knowledge. This initiative strengthens Rotary’s mission, empowering young leaders to contribute meaningfully to community service, growth, and global understanding.
9th Installation Ceremony
The Rotaract Club of Colombo Fort’s Installation Ceremony is an annual event to appoint new leaders and celebrate past achievements. This year’s gathering at Hatch Works marks the club’s accomplishments while unveiling fresh initiatives from the new leadership team.
Unplugged 2.0
Phase 1; A Tribute to Rtr. Vaishnav – Unplugged 2.0’s Phase 1, held on 26th October 2024 at Ash-Shifaa Home, honoured the late Rtr. Vaishnav from RAC Chunnakam. His legacy from last year’s Unplugged lives on, bringing heartfelt memories to the Rotaract movement.
Footprints of Fort
Footprints of Fort was a commemorative project marking a decade since the recharter of the Rotaract Club of Colombo Fort in 2016. Held under the overarching Charter Day 2025 celebrations, the project celebrated the club’s evolution, service, legacy, and the people who helped shape its journey.
Lailat 2025
Lailat 2025 was not just an event—it was a movement of hearts, a shared dream brought to life by 22 Rotaract Clubs across Sri Lanka. What began as a casual conversation among friends over dinner evolved into a deeply spiritual and collaborative inter-club iftar, celebrating unity during the sacred month of Ramadan.
Dil Se Holi
“Dil Se Holi” was a spirited inter-club celebration jointly hosted by the
Rotaract Clubs of Colombo Fort, College of Chemical Sciences, Colombo Reconnections, and Imperial College of Business Studies. This vibrant event brought the Holi festival to life with a burst of colours, unity, and celebration, emphasising cultural appreciation and joyful fellowship.
Sannadda
Helping Hands is a heartfelt internal initiative launched by the Rotaract
Club of Colombo Fort to extend practical support to its members in times
of personal transition or need. Grounded in the belief that service begins
at home, the initiative aims to cultivate a deeply rooted sense of
compassion, empathy, and mutual aid among members.
Haikyuu – The Dumpster Battle Premiere
The Haikyuu – The Dumpster Battle Premiere was a unique cultural initiative by the Rotaract Club of Colombo Fort that combined entertainment with community building. The event centered around a public screening of the popular anime film Haikyuu: The Dumpster Battle, offering anime fans and Rotaractors a platform to connect through shared interests. Held at Neko & Kopi, the project emphasised the values of teamwork and perseverance, central to both the anime and Rotaract spirit. This informal yet engaging event fostered fellowship while attracting new prospects through a creatively curated experience.
